OUR WEBSITE AND SERVICES

The Website may describe or reference services that Slazik Electric may offer, including but not limited to: electrical installation, electrical repairs, electrical upgrades, panel and service work, solar-related electrical work, solar system repair, inverter replacement, battery and backup power systems, standby/portable generator integration, EV charging infrastructure, and related services.

REQUESTS, ESTIMATES, PROPOSALS, AND PROJECT TERMS

Scope Changes and Unforeseen Conditions

Electrical and energy projects frequently involve concealed or unknown conditions. You acknowledge that actual project requirements may differ from expectations based on:

• concealed wiring, damaged conductors, undersized equipment, or non-compliant installations

• outdated equipment, legacy installations, or prior work not meeting code

• structural constraints, access limitations, trenching/conduit conditions, or environmental conditions

• utility requirements, meter location constraints, and interconnection requirements

• permitting requirements, correction notices, and inspection findings

• manufacturer installation requirements and equipment availability

 

We reserve the right to revise scope, pricing, and schedule if conditions require additional work, materials, or coordination.

 

PERMITTING, INSPECTIONS, AND UTILITY COORDINATION

Many projects require permits and inspections by an Authority Having Jurisdiction (“AHJ”). Some projects also require utility coordination. We may assist with permitting and coordination if included in the project scope, but you acknowledge:

• permitting and inspection timelines are controlled by third parties

• approval is not guaranteed

• additional documentation or revisions may be required

• utility timelines and requirements can change without notice

 

You agree to provide necessary cooperation, access, authorizations, and documentation needed to facilitate permits and approvals.

 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

If you request services or submit a form, you agree you may be responsible for:

• providing accurate site and contact information

• ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas

• identifying known hazards (e.g., asbestos, mold, vermin, unsafe structures, compromised equipment)

• obtaining approvals from landlords, HOAs, property management, or other stakeholders

• ensuring the property has an active utility account when required

• securing pets and maintaining safe conditions for work crews

• timely decision-making to avoid delays

 

PAYMENT INFORMATION (IF APPLICABLE)

If the Website includes invoicing, deposits, or online payment links, additional terms may apply. Any payment processing may be handled by third-party providers. Slazik Electric is not responsible for third-party processor outages or errors.

WARRANTIES AND MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Workmanship

Any workmanship warranty, if offered, will be defined in the written project agreement, proposal, or invoice terms.

Manufacturer Warranties

Equipment warranties are provided by the manufacturer under the manufacturer’s terms. Slazik Electric does not provide manufacturer warranties and does not control manufacturer coverage decisions.

No Guarantee of Savings or Performance

​

Solar production, battery performance, generator performance, and energy savings depend on many factors. We do not guarantee performance, incentives, rates, rebates, or savings unless explicitly stated in writing.

WEBSITE CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Ownership

The Website and all content (including text, photos, graphics, icons, design elements, branding, logos, videos, downloadable files, and layout) are owned by Slazik Electric or licensed for use and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Limited License

• performing services and documenting work

• coordinating permits/inspections/utilities (as applicable)

• communicating with you

 

Project Documentation and Marketing Use

If you provide express consent (written, electronic, or other documented consent), you grant permission for Slazik Electric to use project photos/video (generally excluding personally identifying details) for marketing and educational purposes. Consent may be revoked going forward by contacting info@slazikelectric.com, but revocation will not require removal of materials already published where removal is not reasonably feasible.

 

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You agree not to:

• use the Website for any unlawful purpose

• interfere with security features or Website functionality

• scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission

• attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts

• upload malicious code or attempt to introduce vulnerabilities
